Every Saturday afternoon from 4pm, the old high street in Thongsala becomes a bustling market place for the local Thai community and visiting tourists, with many bargains and unique items for sale. The food stalls sell many typical Thai delicacies and other Southern favourites. It’s not only market traders, there are also plenty of restaurants, shops and bars lining the street ready to welcome you in. The market is usually open until 10pm.
