Trash Hero

Trash Hero brings communities together to clean and to reduce waste. They are a non-profit social movement, motivating people to change daily behaviour when it comes to plastic trash and encouraging people to come together to make a difference. The main Trash Hero activities on Koh Phangan are organising clean-ups (every 2nd Sunday, it is fun, it is free!) and running a program to reduce the amount of plastic bottles by spreading the refillable Trash Hero water bottles. Local businesses sell the inexpensive stainless steel bottles and offer free water refills for Trash Hero bottle owners.
